Even more work

So I posted a few days ago about all the work I have to do this month. Well, it turns out I was a little off. Rather than three projects due by the end of this month, I actually have FOUR. My play Mrs. Hawking, the script of my graphic novel Lame Swans, my larp Break a Leg, AND the final draft of my craft essay on pacing in theatrical writing.

I am basically chained to my desk until further notice. I haven't quite lost my cool, but I'm getting really nervous. This is a ton of work, and while I know I will somehow force myself to get it all done, I am really worried about doing well. I am going to get progressively more burnt out, and I am afraid the quality of my work will decline. And these are things I really want to do well on, particularly Mrs. Hawking. I think this play could be really good if I do it right, something that could be a real accomplishment for my career as a playwright, so I couldn't bear to screw it up. But it's hard to construct a solid mystery, believable high action, and compelling interpersonal drama when you're this stressed and overworked. I am really going to have to dig deep if I'm going to pull this off.

Haven't lost my head yet. Keep going.

Thanks :) I still have seven character sheets to write in the next two weeks, which is kind of making me panicky :(
